Sunday, March 26th Autocross Racers the season is upon us!  The first and very important meeting (if you want your numbers for 2006) is scheduled for April 2nd.  Click here for more info. Markus was out volunteering at this year's Okanagan Campus to Campus Run.  Here are a few shots form the event. Wednesday, March 22nd The SunFM Prescribed Burn Rally Team drives to 2nd place in the first event of the Western Canadian Rally Championship! Click here for more details and the press release. Thursday, March 16th The Southern Interior Karting Association has a karting seminar on March 19th, 10 am at Kal-Tire Westside. Their race season begins April 8 and 9 at the Vernon Multiplex. This is highly competitive racing at its best, check it out! Sunday, March 12th Matt has posted the Kelowna Corvette Club's Vernon race dates on the forum.  Click here to see the dates. Saturday, March 11th Just in case any of you are going north, or we have northern readers, GETREALRALLY is a new rally club from Prince George, and offers cash for winning. A "School's Out" Novice TSD Rally is scheduled for April 1-2. Monday, March 6th Matt has posted the 2006 AutoCross race schedule on our Autocross forum.  Click here for the dates. A second training course will be available in July. Book early for a discount... Friday, March 3rd Hey, it's really nice looking out the window at 5:30 pm and still seeing sunlight. My camera and I can almost taste the Autocross season.  I think I might have a smile on my face. As usual Markus keeps me on line and up to date with the release of this month's UP2SPEED article. Markus' articles are always a good read, but this one stands out for a few good reasons.  As you know the main goal of OkanaganRacing.com is to encourage the growth of all forms of racing in our area.  This month's UP2SPEED is an overview of Markus' first (and rather successful, I might add) attempt a TSD rallying.
