The Okanagan
Valley is a true all season playground for
kids of all sizes. All we need to do
is stand back and have a look at the many
diverse events happening this month.
For the skiing crowd there are two major
racing events that are certain to attract a
lot of attention. The first is the
SPECIAL OLYMPICS BC WINTER GAMES.
This year,
TELEMARK on the Westside will be
hosting the cross country portion.
Come on out and support these great
athletes. The second event that stands
out is the
FREESTYLE FIS WORLD CUP at
APEX
MOUNTAIN RESORT. This is going
to be an amazing event and once again shows
that the Okanagan is a world class ski
destination.
Auto Racing fans are not left out this month
either. The
KNOX MOUNTAIN MOTORSPORTS club is
holding another race on Duck Lake this
weekend. It's a bit of a trek for
those wanting to watch (you must sign a
waiver), but it is a whole lot of fun.
